Grant is located along the IndianRiver/intracoastal in central east Florida's fishing capital  since the late 1800's .Steamboats and  railways  had scheduled stops in Grant for fruit ,fish  and seafood . the bountiful waters here brought many adventurers ,treasure hunters and of course fishermen.  Grant is famous for it's annual seafood festival held the end of February  every year and run entirely by volunteers this festival has fed 1000's of folks for over 43 yrs.
